Projects
Places we have worked
We work in Toronto but also partner with other organizations in Ontario and in Canada and also work internationally. Presently in Toronto we have a number of projects focused on reducing poverty as part of the Poverty Reduction Strategy. We also work with the Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre to study the impacts of integrated care on longitudinal outcomes over time.
We have also partnered with the Ontario Brain Institute to build evaluation capacities of community organizations, spread over Ontario.
Evaluators from the Centre have also worked with the Centre for Excellence of the Treasury Board of Canada to promote understanding of theory driven evaluation among evaluators working in the Federal Sector.
We also work internationally and have partnered with the China National Health Development Health Research Centre to develop evaluation capacities to evaluate impacts of health system reform efforts on health inequities in China. We have also worked with the Gender, Equity and Rights group of the World Health Organization to develop approaches to integrate gender, equity and rights into action planning in the WHO. Evaluators in the Centre are also engaged in evaluating projects funded by the UN to engage with men to reduce domestic violence in India.
