What are the unintended consequences of the initiative?

Much of the existing literature on complex initiatives assumes that only good will come of such initiatives. However, there is also a distinct possibility that the intervention can result in less than favourable impacts.

• Pay attention to the unintended consequences, as part of the dialogue and reflection between the stakeholders.  This is facilitated by considering the mechanisms by which initiatives affects outcomes.
