ASSUMPTION – Relationship building is key to understanding the relevance of research and capacity building to address local problems. 

RISK - As a result of poor relationships, research has not been optimal nor has it been communicated well across other researchers and knowledge users, reducing interest in the role of research in addressing global and local health challenges
