Dancing With Parkinson\u2019s creates and delivers weekly dance and movement classes for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease in several locations in the Greater Toronto Area. The classes bring participants out of isolation and into the community where they have an opportunity to benefit emotionally and physically from their Parkinsonian symptoms through dance.\u00a0 The evaluation explored how DWP makes a difference in the lives of people with Parkinson\u2019s disease.\u00a0 A key focus was on the mechanisms of impact. \u00a0Following a realist evaluation perspective, we explored the contexts and mechanisms underlying the health and social outcomes associated with Dancing with Parkinson\u2019s.<\/p>\n
